About

Hi – I am Kim Kachadoorian – also known as the Geeky Marketer.  I started this blog because while I have been job hunting I have come across some great articles and job sites I would like to share with others.  I thought I would share some of those links and job sites with others as well.

Let’s be honest – job hunting is not fun!  I wanted an outlet to allow a more social connection regarding job hunting.  With this blog  I am giving back to others that have helped me along the way as well.

If there is something you would like to see on this site that you believe would  enhance it – please let me know!

    • Thanks Ed it is starting to take shape – as you know it is time consuming but I really want to give back and pay it forward for others. Job hunting is a challenge, looking for easier ways to communicate jobs that people can actually apply for.

  1. I admire your pay it forward approach. I try to help job seekers too, with my articles, my blog and by volunteering for some events. I’ll be helping with this week’s speed interview practice at AACIL and sometimes review resumes for individuals. We all have to help others through these times.

  2. What a great idea and thank you for creating this blog chock full of good information.

Another great place to network (especially for those interested in working for startups and/or are thinking of starting their own business) is the upcoming 2011 Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship (http://www.ace-event.org/). This event is at Ann Arbor’s Skyline High School on January 31, 2011.

  3. We have added your local blog, to our Blog Roll at Reach Out Job Search. Great resource! Feel free to review our site, if you have the opportunity. We would love to have you as a guest on a future radio show. We produce/host weekly on the subject of Job Search, at the Blog Talk Radio network!!
